Hapax Orchestra - The Snowman 2025

Christmas 2025: Hapax Orchestra performed the soundtrack to the beloved animated classic The Snowman while the film was shown on the big screen at Dorking Halls.

Based on the famous children’s book by Raymond Briggs, The Snowman has become a cherished Christmas tradition since the animated film first appeared in 1982. Its unforgettable score by Howard Blake, including the iconic song Walking in the Air, lends itself beautifully to live orchestral performance. In this special concert format, the orchestra performs the score in perfect synchronisation with the film, bringing the story vividly to life.

Dorking Hall has invited us back, with dates going up to Christmas 2028. Audience feedback was truly heartwarming:
