Born and raised in London with Cypriot roots, Dimitri studied music from a very young age, making the decision to pursue it as a career in his late teens.

 

Dimitri is currently the Musical Director of Hapax Orchestra; a new orchestra for and music students and early career musicians, and Executive Producer/Artistic Director of Silent Composition, a new initiative taking contemporary composers and pairing them with out of copyright silent movies for live to picture performances. Dimitri is also Musical Director of Beckenham Concert Band, and has guest conducted with amateur groups across the south of England.
